Cheryle Gaston, CanSkate &PrePowerSkate Lead & Star Skate Coach

Availability: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday

Cheryle is a Bilingual Level 3 Skate Canada Certified Coach with more than 40 years of experience. She is a past recipient of both the Star Skate and Competitive Coach of the Year Awards from Skate Nova Scotia. Cheryle is one of the "Best of the Best" CanSkate Honourees and a member of the National CanSkate Resource Team. Cheryle was also awarded the  Volunteer Coach Award from Skate Nova Scotia. In 2015 she was the Manager of Team Nova Scotia's Canada Games Figure Skating Team. 

Cheryle supports all skating athletes at various levels of training. She is also a learning facilitator for NCCP level 1 Coaches.

Fallis Thompson, CanSkate, StarSkate & Synchro Skate Coach

Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday

​Fallis is a level 2 Skate Canada certified Coach. She began coaching in the fall of 2010. She is the coach of the Acadia Axe-Elles Synchronized Skating team who has won two Regional titles and attended Nationals in 2015. She also coaches in Kentville and Wolfville skating clubs. She completed her gold dances, gold skating skills, gold interpretive, and senior bronze free skate.

Jennifer is a NCCP level 1 certified Coach and has been a Skate Canada Professional Coaching Member since 1998.

Coaching philosophy: First and foremost I have a passion for skating! I believe that skating is for life and it can be enjoyed at all ages. Whether your goal is to be a competitive skater or choose personal development and sheer enjoyment of the sport, you learn lessons that you will take with you for life. I believe that when you set goals there is endless opportunity and with strong work ethic you CAN achieve your goals! When you learn to BELIEVE in yourself the possibilities are endless.

Ann is a Level 3 Skate Canada Certified Coach with more than 39 years of experience. She is a past recipient of the Star Skate Coach of the Year, Competitive Coach of the Year and Volunteer Coach Awards from Skate Nova Scotia.
